mixed feelings about my stay
d e c e n t s e l e c t i o n inconvenient location unfriendly staff
the breakfast was acceptable it had a decent selection of items
the location proved inconvenient it was a considerable distance from the train station especially with luggage the front desk staff member was also rather unfriendly during check-in lacking a cute demeanor additionally the bed and pillow were subpar resulting in an uncomfortable sleep experience the pillow was particularly thin providing inadequate support

the receptionist seemed quite annoyed when i arrived. he acted like he was doing ME a favor by checking me in. also, the walls were paper-thin. i could hear EVERYTHING my neighbors were doing, ALL NIGHT. this lack of sleep really soured my experience.

fresh fruit helpful staff reasonable bar m i n i m a l l i g h t i n g
the breakfast selection included fresh fruit and varied choices it had good quality i found the staff particularly polite they were also helpful with local information i appreciated the bar prices being quite reasonable. i was offered a free drink for skipping daily room service i found this arrangement very convenient. the location is near the main street offering easy access to attractions.
lighting was minimal as my room only had a few wall lamps and one lamp wasn't working properly

The staff was friendly. They provided helpful information for exploring the area. The rooftop terrace offered very nice views. The Matterhorn looked in the distance, it was amazing, we loved the view. Breakfast included various choices. There was freshly ground coffee, a wonderful experience
The hotel is situated on a small hill, there was a steep climb from the train station. This proved a bit challenging with heavy luggage.
